A project with Activa starts with production of your documentation, using what you have and adding only where neccessary with your input. We then manage implementation of any improvements / additions and complete the first internal audit with you. We review the system performance and then you are ready to invite an independent third-party certification body to assess your system. (Activa cannot issue certificates just as certification bodies cannot provide consultancy - otherwise we would be marking our own homework!). Currently the implications coming from the new standard is further emphasis upon key process measurement and improvement specifically mentioned is Customer Satisfaction. Secondly, further Resource Planning is required and Activa will work with you to develop appraisal techniques to help you build a training plan that fits your business plan. Projects typically take between 4 and 6 months. Click project plan above for more details
Certification Bodies
Activa recommend you use Accredited Certification Bodies the most widely recognised accreditation bodies around the world for ISO 9000 are UKAS (United Kingdom) and DAR (Germany). The certifications bodies they accredit vary in terms of approach, we consider that the best ones provide professional auditors who add value, not nit pick. Time should be spent helping the company improve through applied knowledge.
There are so called certification bodies that offer an assessor to provide documentation and a certificate at the end without reference to any accreditation body. Activa strongly reccomend accredited third party assessment.
For this reason Activa recommend UKAS accredited:
Quality and Environmental Certification Ltd - Q.E.C.
