ISO 9001 has been updated to the new ISO 9000-2000 standard. There will be one standard - ISO 9001:2000 with no distiction between 9001 and 9002. The elements of design remain with the onus no being on ISO 9002 systems to demonstrate they do not design. Guidelines for implementation will be ISO 9004:2000.
